Having the American Library Association Annual Conference in Chicago is like having a Harry Potter conference at Hogwarts—it’s home and everyone loves going home. Chicago is the home of the American Library Association and the city where it always knocks attendance out of the park. After a better than expected turn out in Anaheim in 2012, there’s no reason why 2013 can’t theoretically be the best ALA Annual in recent memory. Not to mention that Exhibitor Survey's Inc ranks it 10th in the country of ALL TRADE SHOWS in net buying power, which means that the people attending ALA are the exact people you would want to market your books to. |
