We've all been on a wild trip over the past several months or maybe a year or two. Yes! I refer to the emergence of generative AI. Call it hype, label it a bubble, be afraid of it, or take advantage of it to your advantage, but one thing is certain: you cannot ignore it.
You cannot ignore generative AI or AI in general and claim that you would be better off without it. You are not, that's for sure. as it is ubiquitous. Use cases for it are numerous. Gen AI is already being used by people and businesses to explore new areas, bring about long-overdue advancements, and make the essential technological shifts.
One such business is SAP. SAP has also been trying recently to integrate the potent gen AI technologies into their products and business processes. Thus, in an attempt to learn more, we had a type of interview with Chris Salis from SAP.

Chris Salis On SAP’s Plan When It Comes to Generative AI?
"Our goal is to naturally integrate AI into the SAP software so that it stands out on the application side," Chris said. The core technology of AI is not the goal, and we will never compete in that space. Rather, we would like to say, "We want to partner," in that area.
For this reason, we will be collaborating with several businesses, including OpenAI, Microsoft, Aleph Alpha, Anthropic, Cohere, IBM, Google, and so on. We'll be collaborating with more businesses just like them soon.
The strategy has been straightforward thus far (and going forward): employ the greatest technology currently on the market to rapidly develop your goods and everything else you do. Thus far, the SAP team has done an excellent job at this. They really are stepping up to the plate and integrating cutting-edge AI technology into our company data, business processes, and apps to make everything extremely trustworthy and relevant for our clients.
It's possible that some may find fault with this and point out that your rivals are acting similarly. That being said, I disagree with the manner in which they are going about it. Our methods are what set us apart and help us win over new clients and leave a lasting impact on existing ones.
