Unboxing the brand new iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Gray

What'S going on everyone, I am back here with a pretty exciting unboxing video and what I'm going to be unboxing is the newly released iPhone 6 plus, which of course, was just released today. I ordered it or essentially pre-ordered it last Friday when the pre-orders opened, because I didn't want to wait in line to get the phone, because I just didn't really feel that was necessary. So but anyway, the version that I got here is the 128 gigabyte Space Gray, which also I got it with the AppleCare plus. I think it's called, which was another $ 100, so in all it came out to about 670 after taxes and fees and whatnot, but anyway, let's go ahead and take it out of this shipping box and, of course, I've covered up the top, because I don't want To show my address, of course, okay, so let's crack the tape right here, ten, okay, all right! So there's the box and out okay - and I have to say Apple's design on the new iPhone box - is kind of odd, because there's no actual definite or no actual sign that this is an iPhone six, because it's all it says right here is iPhone which, in My opinion is just weird because every other previous version of the iPhone has stated the name iPhone 4 and whatnot, and the camera keeps going out of focus for some reason anyway and same thing with the top. The top doesn't have really any picture of the phone itself. It just kind of has a essentially an indentation or a pop-out of the outline of the phone, which is kind of weird, in my opinion, but whatever it's not a big deal. This main thing is the phone itself so need to make sure. Okay, let me cover up the barcode anyway, on the back here it says 128 gigabyte, which is the version that I went ahead and got so. Yes, let's go ahead and cut the plastic around the side and I do like to keep my packages or boxes in fairly good condition, because you never know if we might need to return it or something like that. So better safe than sorry sors actually mean slight handle to do there. We go okay, so there's plastic. Now, let's go ahead and open it. Finally open and voila there is the iPhone six-plus. https://www.techtricksclub.net/best-aux-cable/ have been waiting this for waiting for this for quite a while, as you may tip, as you can probably tell I'm pretty excited anyways with lift the tab, bring it out and my gosh. That is a pretty beautiful looking phone, I must say, and it is extremely thin for those of you wondering first impression so far this this looks like it's going to be very nice the size. I was actually worried that it was going to be too big, but now that I'm actually holding it, it doesn't actually seem to be overly overtopping. I could reach to the side quite easily. I could reach to the top and bottom, not too bad, so really, nice. So let's go ahead and set that off for just a second and see what else comes in the box so right here, oh that's kind of interesting since the camera lens pops out slightly, they had to cut a hole in the little plastic. So that's interesting! So then we have our documentation here, designed by Apple in California, of course open this up and by the way this is the Verizon version of the iPhone. So there is no sim removal tool because the SIM card is pre-installed, so kind of interesting Apple has pretty much gone with a minimalistic design here, because the info card is even kind of plain. Looking just got a slight out outline of the phone with some quick reference to what all the buttons do now, on the back, give you some quick start guide information, warranty information and two larger sized Apple stickers. Let'S put all that: okay everything's falling everywhere. Okay, let's move that off, and so we have the basic box contents, as you would find in previous versions of the iPhone iPhone 5 and 5s. So we have the Apple earpods, which are significantly better from the old previous version of the headphones. But I'd still would recommend picking up a much more premium pair of headphones. If you are a someone that likes to listen to music all the time right here, a standard 5 watt power, adapter nothing's changed there as well as the basic 8 pin, lightning cable. So essentially, the box contents haven't changed. Everything is the same, so pretty cool, but you guys are here to see the main star of the show, which is the phone itself. Now I am going to keep the plastic on the front and back because I am going to be putting a screen protector on this right after this video. So I'm going to, I want to keep it as clean as possible. So, anyway, let's go ahead and give a quick hardware tour. So, on the front, we have the brand new 5.5 inch retina HD display, which now has a resolution of 1080p, whereas the iPhone 5s did not have a full HD display, which was surprising, and it also comes in at a pixel density of 401. So the pixel density is much higher on this phone that it has been in previous versions, which is another plus. So that's the screen very nice. I haven't actually seen in person, of course, because it's the first time holding it but yeah on the top. You have your earpiece, along with the North tongue-tied, the earpiece, the ambient light sensor, the front-facing camera and then your first of three microphones. Also. The front-facing camera has also been improved. It'S still 720p, unfortunately, and it also still only takes 1.2 megapixel photos, but they have improve the sensor to have the ability to take burst mode photos now and better low-light conditions, and everything like that. So you're going to get a slightly better, improved camera, but not huge on the bottom. We have our newly improved touch ID sensor, which is going to recognize your fingerprints much more accurately than it did on the 5s. On this side, we have our standard array of buttons. You have the volume up, volume down which are slightly recessed now and are also taken on the pill shaped design, as Apple is kind of moving into that design change with every other device. Then we have the sleep/wake. Excuse me: the vibrate switch, which I was actually kind of worried that that was going to be there, but I'm glad it still is on the phone. On the other side, we have the SIM tray, which is nano SIM. I believe, then, the sleep/wake button has now moved to the right-hand side rather than the top, because having it on the side is easier to grasp it and use it with one hand, which is cool. So now, on the bottom, we have our 3.5 milimeter headset jack. Our second microphone, our lightning connector and our much much improved speaker from what i've heard and what i've read on websites. People have been saying that this speaker is much improved over the 5s. It'S much louder and much clearer. So I'm going to I'm anxious to see how that's going to be and then again on the top. We have absolutely nothing and moving to the back. We have another. Quite large design change Apple has gone away with the glass on the top and bottom of the phone. Where they've gone now is you now have a aluminum portion on the top and bottom, but because of that, they've had to put a antenna bands around the top and bottom of the phone to give it reception, because if that was not there, the phone will get Terrible reception and call quality and everything because the aluminum case would be blocking the signal. Also, there is a new design to the Apple logo. It'S no longer embedded into the casing. It is a completely separate part that is put in after the actual manufacturing process is almost done so slight design change there, but nothing major. Now up top, we have our newly improved iSight camera, which is still 8 megapixel. Unfortunately, but the overall sensor itself has been greatly improved, you can now take 240 frames, a second slow motion, whereas on the 5s you you only can do 120 frames a second. It also has a much improved low-light capability, so you can get some much better. Low-Light photos and also exclusive to the iPhone 6 plus, whereas the iPhone 6 does not have this feature. The 6 plus has an optical image stabilizer, and what that does is gives you much better and much more stabilized photos and videos. So your pictures and videos are going to come out much more smooth. If you have like a shaky hand, it will adjust for that and give you a smooth image, which is nice. Next, to that, we have our microphone, which is the third of the three microphones, and then we have our true tone flash, which has also been slightly redesigned. It is now circular, instead of pill shaped which hopefully, it should reduce glare and just give a better quality. Flash picture so with that being said, I'm going to go ahead and push the power button here and boot it up for the first time, I'm not going to actually set it up, I'm just going to turn it on, because I'll do the setup process, off-camera and Then show you guys the actual software in my review video. So let's do click reference to previous versions of the iPhone. So here we have the iPhone 5. Let me go ahead and actually zoom in so you guys can see this better. Okay, so right here I have the iPhone five, which was a thin phone to begin with turn that off briefly, but now, with these six plus and six, you get a much thinner phone. As you can see here, these thinness is it's pretty drastic. It'S not huge, but it is definitely noticeably thinner if you hold it in person and it's it's about, I would say it's slightly heavier, but I wouldn't say by much which is pretty pretty cool so there it is up against the thanks for that five. So you can see the size difference and then also I have the iPhone 4 here. So you guys can see what it looks like against that the size is pretty pretty drastic if you guys have been using a 4 4s or a 5 or 5s, and you jump to the 6 plus you're going to notice the screen size immediately. The screen size is huge but, like I said at the beginning of the video, it doesn't feel huge in your hand anyway. So here's the thickness compared to the iPhone 4. There is a definite size difference there, a much much thinner than the iPhone 4 and, of course the screen sizes are different, because you've got three and a half inch here. You got four inch here, then you have 5.5 here in the middle. So let's go ahead and take these out and just to give a reference to what it looks like against the 4.7 inch iPhone 6. I have this paper cut out of the it's pretty accurate to what the phone size would be anyway. So there is what it looks like up against the iPhone 6 4.7 inch version, and there it is on top, you can see it is definitely bigger, but only by a little bit, because the 4.7 inch is very close in size. So anyway, that's pretty much of this unboxing video. I will definitely get in-depth in depth more in my full review, video that I will be uploading within the next few weeks once i've used the phone and checked it all out and gotten used to it and everything like that, so anyway yeah. I hope you guys have enjoyed this video make sure to hit the subscribe button right down. There also hit that like button it have, let's me know that you guys are enjoying my videos also, if you guys have any questions or comments about this video leave. Those in the section below and I'll get back to them as soon as I can now, if there, if there are any questions about the actual device itself. Please note that, because this are because that I have just gotten the phone, it's going to take me some time to learn some things about it. So if I don't answer your guys's questions immediately, that is why I'm just getting used to the phone and get more knowledge about it. So uh with that being said, once again hope you guys have enjoyed this pretty cool and boxing video stay tuned. For my full review, like I said, which would be coming in with within the next few weeks, which I'll go over all the specs and technical everything like that, so stay tuned for that yeah once again hope you guys have enjoyed this unboxing video and I will See you guys in the next one peace out,
