Top Neighborhoods for an Apartment Rental in New York |

The most populous city in the United States, nearly 12 times larger than Paris, New York is undoubtedly the megalopolis that we know best even before setting foot there for the first time, so much has it been used as scenery in films or series. This does not mean, however, that you can deprive yourself of a stay in this city "which never sleeps". This is all the more true since each district has its own atmosphere, a particular charm, far from the clichés conveyed by the various works in which the Big Apple appears. So, which neighborhood should you choose for your apartment rental in New York? Answer in five essentials! ManhattanBig Apple's best-known and busiest neighborhood, Manhattan is a real movie set, with its (very) long avenues (provide good walking shoes…), its skyscrapers, and its business centers. It's a safe bet when looking for a vacation rental in New York… if you like the effervescence of a hyper center of this importance. On-site, there is no shortage of points of interest: Times Square and its giant advertising displays, the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, Central Park, 5th Avenue... As a family, we advise you to opt for an apartment on the Upper West Side: its streets are much quieter than in lower Manhattan. The excellent public transport offer will allow you to reach the monument of your choice in a few minutes. HarlemLocated in the north of Manhattan, the district of Harlem enjoys an ideal location, about fifteen minutes by subway from Times Square and less than ten from Central Park. It's a good plan for an inexpensive apartment rental in New York since accommodation there is much more affordable than in Manhattan. They also have the good taste of being a little bigger on average: perfect for groups of friends! On-site, you will find a multicultural atmosphere, with many establishments offering jazz concerts (we cannot recommend the famous Appolo Theater enough). Take the opportunity to visit the Malcolm Shabazz Market, the largest African market in the United States. BrooklynBrooklyn, the most populated district of the Big Apple, has become in a few years the district of artists. It must be said that many disused factories have been transformed there into workshops, lofts, and fashionable shops. This does not prevent it from still being very multicultural, with many communities living in harmony. Once you've packed your bags in your vacation apartment in New York, head for the Brooklyn Bridge, the city's most famous bridge. Between May and August, plan a picnic at Empire Fulton Ferry Park, overlooking the bridge. An unforgettable and very romantic moment, especially since The QueensLocated opposite Manhattan, the Queens (“Queens” for short in English, and not “The Queens”, if you have to ask your way) deserve to be known. It is traversed in its entire length by line 7 of the metro, an overhead line that allows you to admire the landscapes. It is a lively, multicultural neighborhood – as is often the case in New York – and populated by artists. It thus houses the MoMA PS1, one of the largest museums of contemporary art in the country. If you go there in the summer, moreover, know that the places are occupied every Saturday evening by DJs who come to test their new compositions. Also take the direction of Long Island City, which offers the best view of the New York skyline. In the evening, this place is absolutely magical… The BronxFar from the negative image that some may still have of the district, the Bronx has undergone a major transformation since the end of the 2000s. The offer of monuments and places to visit is solid, particularly Yankee Stadium, the Zoo, the Hall of Fame for Great Americans, and the New York Botanical Garden. Be careful, however, to allow more time than in Queens or Brooklyn to get to Manhattan: the Bronx is the most remote district of our selection. But it also offers the possibility of renting a villa in New York!
