There is a reason why unwanted hair is called unwanted hair – it is hair that is unwanted! Hair on your arms, legs, chest, face and in some cases, even your pubic area is an unwanted sight. When you are wearing short clothes or are heading to a beach resort, you want to look your best and these ‘unwanted hair’ could be the source of embarrassment. For years, women have spent hours trying to remove these hair and of late, even the metrosexual man, wants to look better, every time they step out of the house. People have spent money and effort in removing these hair, only to see them return after a while.
With advances in medical science, there are now methods that can help remove unwanted hair permanently and laser hair removal happens to be one of them. There are those who will tell you that this procedure is nothing by hype, but there are those who will wax eloquent about how effective this procedure is and how it can give you a renewed sense of confidence in yourself.
Let’s take a look at the factors that make laser hair removal worth considering:
- Most of the traditional methods of hair removal, such as shaving, waxing and hair removal creams are all temporary solutions. With each method, you will start to see the hair growing back again in a matter of weeks, if not days. Every few weeks, you will have to go through the same process, involving time, money and effort. With laser hair reduction in India, just a few sessions and you will notice that your hair is not growing back as fast as it used to and eventually, there will be no hair at all. In the rarest of cases, a few hair will grow back, but that hair will be extremely fine and not easily visible.
- If you have ever shaved your arms or legs, you know that nicks and cuts are common. If you have ever waxed, you know that it is incredibly painful. If you have used hair removal creams, you might have experienced itching or even skin discoloration. With laser hair removal, you have little to worry about – there will be no cuts or bruises, the pain is a lot lesser than waxing (many people describe it as the same feeling as when a rubber band is snapped against your skin) and there will be no itching either.
- While waxing, shaving and hair removal creams are cheaper options, over time, they will prove to be more expensive. With laser hair removal, you will need anywhere between 6 to 10 sessions, but when you are done with those, you might never have to bother about hair removal again. But with all the traditional methods, you will have to keep repeating the procedure and the expenditure, over and over again. So when you look at a cumulative amount spent, laser hair reduction in India will be a lot more cost effective.
- If you are shaving your arms and legs at the same time, you could spend anywhere near 5 to 10 minutes. Waxing will take a little more time, because you need to wait for the wax to warm up, then apply it to your skin, then cover it with a cloth strip and then bear the pain, when it is ripped off. Hair removal creams need to be applied and left for anywhere between 10 to 15 minutes, before being removed. A single session of laser hair removal could take anywhere between 10 to 30 minutes and if you calculate a total of even 10 sessions, it is only about a maximum of 300 minutes of your life!
- There are some areas of the body, where you will be concerned about using the traditional methods of hair removal. For instance, your bikini line – while you might never consider using a razor, as you could possibly cut yourself, waxing can be extremely painful. Similarly, as a woman, you would never even think about shaving your face for the unwanted hair. But with laser, you can get any part of your body cleared of unwanted hair with ease – there is literally no restrictions!
While there is an initial investment of time and money with laser hair removal, when you look at it long term, you will realise that it is the far better option, than all the traditional methods put together.
