Posted: June 30, 2012 |
The daily urine output is an indicator of a person's current state of health. Excessive or decreased urine output can be a sign of an underlying condition. The normal output of urine for a healthy adult is 2 liters per day. A decrease of urine output is less than 500 milliliters in a 24-hour period.
