Some helpful tips for recovering from surgery
Sleep on your back - Well this maybe one you do out of habit anyway as sleeping on your body part that has just been prodded and poked wouldn’t be the most comfortable thing in the world but there is also another very important reason. Remember your stitches are fresh and haven’t healed so you need to give them time to do so, sleeping on your front will push the implant to the side of your breast which in turn will put more pressure on the stitched area this has been known to rupture stitching which then results in a very long and extremely more painful recovery period than is needed.
Don’t run, jump or perform any other vigorous physical activities These activities you will cause your breasts to bounce and jiggle around, which has the potential to burst your stitches, opening up your wounds or dislodge/move your implants. Burst stitches could result in a larger scar and implant movement could result in uneven breast shapes, an undesired shape or even mismatching sizes. If you need to work out, try to do slow movement exercises like yoga after the first 6 weeks of recovery. Alternatively, a spinning class would be ok if a conscious effort is made not to bounce the breasts and should not be considered before the 8 week point. Inspire cosmetics will give you the best solution for your problems. More recommendations to follow
