While you are maintaining social distance, sanitizing yourself and your family and taking all the precautions, it is equally important to keep your house cleaned and sterilized too. It would not be wrong to say; we tend to sanitize everything we have our hands on to. However, this exactly should be the practice these days, as we bring in the whole world and dust with us in our houses the moment we step in from outside. Our safe haven does not remain safe anymore because of it; therefore, we must take matters seriously and sanitize the whole house. If you are avoiding going grocery stores, then you can buy hand sanitizers online as we must have one in our homes as well. Following are the tips that can help you keep your homes sanitized. 1) Start with the basic. Washing your hands is the most basic thing that you can do to sterilize your house. Even before cleaning your house, you need to wash your hands, this is not the first time you hear about it, and it will not be the last time too. Mopping the floor and dusting away all the dirt does not mean you will not need to wash your hands, washing your hands is still necessary. 2) High touch surfaces High touch surfaces are the ones that we are in contact with the most; these are the places that need sanitization the most. Our doorknobs, toilet seats, kitchen cabinets and most importantly, our phones and laptops are the highest touch surfaces. If we do not sanitize them regularly, we are putting ourselves at a greater risk. To be extra cautious, buy personal protective equipment to keep yourself away from the virus. 3) Scrub your kitchen Men and women both belong to the kitchen why should not we, the kitchen has food. Nevertheless, our kitchen should be on the high alert 24/7 as this is where we bring your groceries too. While we are shifting our groceries from our cars to our kitchen, we must ensure we sanitize the grocery bags too as they can be the carrier of the virus as well. Keep your disinfectant bottle just a hand away in an easily reachable place. Most importantly keep all your silverware dishes disinfected as they are more prone to attract the virus. 4) Grocery bags We all tend to keep hundreds of grocery bags in our kitchen as they are pretty convenient, any time you need a bag, you just head over to your kitchen to get one. However, you and I cannot afford to be this careless again, as explained above your grocery bags can carry the virus as well; therefore, it is better to dispose of them as soon as you empty them. 5) Your gadgets We all are hooked on to our laptops and phones all day long. We spend hours on it without realizing how dangerous they can be for us. Therefore we should be careful with them and disinfect them regularly. It can be pretty challenging to disinfect them, but all you have got to do is to use disinfecting wipes and clear your gadgets. Stay safe and healthy and do not forget to sanitize your homes.
