Tearing out and replacing a driveway in Denver Colorado is gonna be much different than it would be replacing a driveway in Grant Colorado. The pricing seen here is for the Denver Metro area and the contractors contacted have service areas inside the Denver Metro area. Using an average size driveway (two car driveway) we measured that at 38 feet long by 16 feet wide. Using this with a 4 inch pour, tearing out the previous driveway and disposing of it and then pouring a new driveway. The average price from Denver area contractors was $6.50 for tear out and replace.According to various online sources, there is quite a spread of pricing for concrete installation in Denver. Some of the websites we found quoted prices as low as $2.85 per square foot while others stated that the best price would be around $10 per square foot. Some of the websites included base preparation and rebar and others did not even make mention how much does it cost to repair a gravel driveway of it. It would seem that the information is all over the place. In the end what's important is that the price you're looking at is defined and you know what you're going to be getting. Some contractors seem to focus on a price "per square foot" that is not all-inclusive and so some of the services included in their per square foot price might not be as inclusive as what you get from other contractors. Most of our customers have explained to us that when they are shopping for a contractor to replace their concrete they are assuming that they will get a "turnkey" solution. It's always important to remember that not all contractors work the same. We went through many of the competing websites in the Denver Metro area, so this would be concrete contractors and concrete companies that install flat work. We averaged the pricing that we received so that we could come up with the following pricing as seen below. Different contractors in the Denver Metro area as well as concrete websites were used in obtaining the average pricing seen below. AVERAGE COST DRIVEWAY DENVER

Pricing any type of construction project is just about near impossible without a "in person estimate" or scope of work meeting so that the contractor and customer can communicate clearly and visibly see what type of work needs to be completed. This is especially the case with concrete. An experienced contractor will be able to see potential problems with the installation of the new driveway, issues that might be avoided with a well-thought-out plan from the beginning. This is exactly why Denver Concrete Inc. uses project notes so that clear communication of what is going to happen with the project he stated from the beginning. So obviously, not addressing all of the obstacles with your project, the pricing below can be used to give you a guideline or "neighborhood" of what it would cost to replace your driveway. To really tie this down and get a specific number, it goes without saying that you'll need to meet with either a contractor or you will need to go out and assess the project yourself. Pricing above is obviously not comprehensive and has been published for your convenience. You must either clearly defined the project yourself and price all materials if you will be completing the job on your own or you will need to meet with a concrete estimator or consultant for more definitive pricing. We have compared our pricing "in-house" with the pricing that we have found on average and it's important to note that Denver Concrete Inc. prices are usually 20% to 30% higher than what we found on average through other contractors. This is important when shopping concrete contractors in Denver because you want to make sure that you are comparing estimates on an even perspective. It’s important that you take into account all of the materials in preparation that will go into building the new driveway, it goes without saying that not every contractor is the same. Some contractors are going to take a great deal of time in preparing the new base for the new concrete driveway while others are simply going to tear out the driveway that’s in place, form and pour a new driveway and move on.
