Organic fertilisers release the nutrients into the soil very slowly allowing plants to absorb them easily. As a result there is little chance of damage to the roots or the plant health. Composting is a great way to recycle kitchen scraps, dried leaves and plant matter into organic fertiliser which provides the best nutrients for the soil.
