Calibration is the process of modifying or adjusting an instrument or a component in an equipment, machine or engine that requires a specific measurement for pressure, volume and or temperature. The equipment or tool used to be able to do calibration correctly is called calibrator. Calibrators measure different values of specification depending on the function of an instrument. It helps a technician determine the current calibration of an instrument and set it to the correct measurement in case it lacks or exceeds which either may cause inefficiency or malfunction to a whole system.
