The Mercedes-Benz EQ is an all-electric SUV which was unveiled in December 2018. The EQ is the first SUV from Mercedes-Benz and it’s designed to compete with other premium electric SUVs like the Kia Niro EV, Jaguar I-Pace, Audi e-tron and BMW iX3. Compared to these vehicles, the EQ offers a more affordable price tag, yet it remains as luxurious as they are. It has an identical exterior design to other Mercedes models across the brand. This includes the GL SUV, the GLC compact coupe, the GLE, the S-Class and the E-Class. The EQS is one of the most affordable electric SUVs you can buy today. The EQS is available in three trim levels: S, GLE and R. The S trim level is the base model and it comes with an MSRP of $93,000. The GLE trim level is the top-level version of the EQS and it costs $130,500. Last but not least, the R trim level is reserved for the plug-in hybrid version of the EQS and it costs $140,000.
