Power trains and performance: The 2015 GMC Canyon has two new engines to offer. The 2.5-liter four cylinder; that gives 200 horsepower and 191 pound feet of torque. On the other hand six speed manual transmissions is offered only in the extended cab. The EPA fuel economy rates offered by this vehicle are 22 miles per gallon combined i.e. 19 miles per gallon within the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway. For six speed automatic transmission, it again offers 22 miles per gallon combines i.e. 20 miles per gallon in the city and 27 miles per gallon on the highway.
