Yuri Calderon serves as chief operating officer and general counsel of Caldwell Flores Winters, an Emeryville, California-based firm that provides a range of consulting services to school districts and their chief administrators. Since joining Caldwell Flores Winters in 2012, Yuri Calderon has managed a $120-million facility program for the Oxnard School District in Ventura County and a $40-million facility program for the Santa Maria Joint Union High School District in Santa Barbara County. Under his guidance, Caldwell Flores Winters, has assisted the Oxnard School District with the replacement of three elementary schools and the negotiations to acquire a twenty-five acre lot to co-locate a new elementary school and a new middle school academy.
Before assuming his current responsibilities, Yuri Calderon served as a founding and managing partner in the San Diego firm of Garcia Calderon Ruiz and an equity partner in charge of the San Diego office of Burke Williams & Sorensen. He maintains a range of professional interests that include international law and the use of technology in the classroom.
