Xtremetuning is a Wellington software engineering firm that specializes to customize the engine maps of vehicles in order to gain more kilowatt, torque and better fuel economy out of the engine. Remapping aka chiptuning gives 5-20% increase in power and fuel economy to vehicle owners which is why it became a great interest for car enthusiast.
Xtremetuning was established in 2012 and shortly after collecting all the mandatory tuning and diagnostic tools business operations started in 2013. From 2015 onwards we have 110-150 new customers every year, working with 1 permanent employee and 4 contractors.
