For more than 15 years, San Francisco-based Vivek Kesaree has been an active player in the fields of sales and business development. Kesaree has provided aid to technology companies, from startup enterprises to established corporations, in building their customer bases, securing sales, and increasing business flow.
Kesaree most recently served as the Global Account Manager for Google- and Sequoia Capital-owned Meraki Networks, a network infrastructure company based in San Francisco. Exceeding quotas and assessing customer needs, Kesaree closed a deal worth $400,000 by overseeing the sale of a hardware-included, cloud-based wireless solutions package in conjunction with rolling software subscriptions. Kesaree also acted as the lead account executive on a $1.3 million deal with Latin America’s foremost telecommunications company, Telmex.
Prior to his work with Meraki, Kesaree served as the Director of Sales for technology startup Cantaloupe Systems. Applying his strategic skills, he formulated a business plan and sales model that eventually yielded the company $5 million in funding. Responsible for the funds’ disbursement, Kesaree delineated company sales objectives, achieving goals through a concerted orchestration of direct sales in the United States, Australia, and Canada.
