The Blue Chapel in Union City: A landmark now silenced and threatened by erasure |
|
The Blue Chapel's rich stained glass memorial windows are extraordinary examples of the Munich School style and were crafted by the Leo P. Frohe Art Glass Works of Buffalo, New York (above advertisement). The Sacred Heart, Dominican saints and the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary are all depicted in Frohe's signed triptych and lancet panels located in the north nave wall, clerestories, chancel and choir.
