Bone Marrow is the flexible tissue in the interior of bones. Bone marrows produce RBCs in adults. Bone marrow forms 4% of the total body weight. So, if a person weighs 60 kg. thus a bone marrow weighs 1.2 Kg. Bone marrow also has another important function. It also produces lymphocytes that supports body’s immune system. |
