In 2000, Thomas Karet co-founded ECHO Realty and currently holds the position of chief executive officer. As CEO, Thomas Karet guides ECHO’s principle strategies; since 2007, these have been focused on developing and acquiring commercial properties anchored by regional grocery stores and expanding on them with additional retailers and service providers.
Prior to his work at ECHO, Thomas Karet was an associate at the Morgan Lewis & Bockius law firm and a partner of the Katten Muchin Rosenman equity group. In addition, he earned a juris doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center.
Thomas Karet is an active contributor to his local community, particularly in regard to the educational and cultural opportunities it offers for local children. In addition to serving as a council member of Fox Chapel Borough, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Karet also is a trustee of both the Pittsburgh Children’s Museum Board and the Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children and chair of Fox Chapel Country Day School, an independent elementary school that emphasizes the arts along with academics.
