A cum laude graduate of Lehigh University, Thomas R. Grossman earned his B.S. in Finance in 1988. Following this, Thomas R. Grossman secured a role with Goldman Sachs & Co., where he eventually became a key player on the International Trading desk. After two years at the International Trading desk at Goldman Sachs & Co., Thomas R. Grossman joined Kingdon Capital Management, LLC as Head of International Trading. Later, Thomas R. Grossman founded a separate, audited fund at SAC Capitol Advisors, LLC and served as Director of All Non-US Trading for this fund, called SAC International Equities, LLC.
For the past 10 years, Thomas R. Grossman has been a portfolio manager at a wide variety of international equities hedge funds across New York City. In 2000, Thomas R. Grossman launched Aeneas Capital Management, LP, a hedge fund to focus on international equities, and successfully managed all trading activities until the fund’s liquidation in 2006. After Aeneas Capital Management, Thomas R. Grossman spent a brief period as Portfolio Manager at Ospraie Management, LLC, where he introduced global equities trading into the company’s extensive portfolio. Today, Thomas R. Grossman runs Union Avenue Advisors, LP, in which he capitalizes on the informational inefficiencies of various financial markets in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
In addition, Thomas R. Grossman owns Blue Chip Farms, a breeding farm for champion racehorses in Wallkill, New York.
