Based out of North Hollywood, California, The Acting Corps offers several programs for aspiring performers. Found online at www.theactingcorps.com The Acting Corps and its Artistic Director Eugene Buica have received positive feedback from well-known industry insiders like actor Rainn Wilson and director/actor Sydney Pollack. Part of the reason for The Acting Corps’ success is how it provides students with a greater opportunity to apply their training.
At The Acting Corps, students can choose from five different courses. The initial acting course is called Actors' Boot Camp, and more than 1,200 of its past attendees have earned credits on the Internet Movie Database. Considered an alternative to traditional acting workshops, The Actors' Boot Camp consists of four weeks of daily classes. Taught by accomplished instructors, Acting Corps actors receive working knowledge of the useful parts of The Meisner Technique and the Michael Chekhov Technique.
After graduating from Actors' Boot Camp, some students are invited to continue in The Acting Corps’ more advanced programs. During the eight-week Actors' Boot Camp II, pupils develop on-camera skills while enhancing their acting abilities. The Working Actor Package includes both The Actors’ Boot Camp and Actors’ Boot Camp II, which includes a patented process teaching them how to market themselves and form relationships with Hollywood insiders.
