An experienced New York attorney, Sarah Baia got her professional start as a law clerk with the Albany County District Attorney’s Office while working toward her Juris Doctor at Albany Law School. Sarah Baia also spent summers as an associate with Couch White, where she focused on business, commercial, and energy law, and Daniels & Porco, where she focused on health, municipal, and labor law.
Since earning her law degree in 2008, Sarah Baia has practiced in areas that range from general business law to estate planning and probate law. Since 2014, she has provided workers’ compensation defense through the national investment and insurance conglomerate The Hartford. She represents a number of New York employers, ranging from large hospitals and universities to small local businesses.
In addition to her work in the legal profession, Ms. Baia is active in the local political efforts of the Republican Party. She currently serves as recording secretary of the Montgomery County Women’s Republican Club and is a committee member with the Montgomery County Republican Committee.
