For more than two decades, Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal has been responsible for Grupo Denim, a family business for three generations. Grupo Denim is one of the largest denim apparel businesses in the Western Hemisphere and was first founded in Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico though it is now based out of Torreon, Mexico. Since its founding, Grupo Denim has diversified and now maintains investments in the United States of America. Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal serves as the company’s CEO and chairman and manages manufacturing processes, inventory, cost control, financial planning, and budgeting on a monthly and annual basis. He also oversees 8,000 employees and handles all international commerce and relations. He also belongs to the Foundation for Economic Development of Coahuila and the National Chamber of the Clothing Industry.
In addition to his work at Grupo Denim, Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal is the owner and manager of GD Holdings and GD Management in Denver, Colorado. Through these companies, he began investing in five-star, world-class hotel and condominium properties in the United States of America and is constantly looking for new opportunities, including in Nashville, Tennessee, Austin, Texas and elsewhere.
