A veteran entrepreneur with a broad background of professional expertise and training, Rick Holman began preparing for his career as a student at Haverford College, where he earned a bachelor of arts in political science and Anthropology (Bryn Mawr College). After graduating, Mr. Holman received a master’s degree in linguistics and philosophy at the University of Cambridge before gaining acceptance to the University of California, Berkeley, at the Walter A. Haas School of Business, where he earned a master of business administration with concentrations in finance and management. Presently, Rick Holman puts his training to use as the chief executive officer of Bright Lite Structures, a San Francisco-UK based, composite materials development company that works closely with major automobile companies and other manufacturers.
When not fulfilling his professional responsibilities at Bright Lite Structures, Rick Holman devotes time and resources to a number of philanthropic organizations dedicated to strengthening academics and research. Among others, these include the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, Barnard College, and the University of Cambridge, his alma mater.
