| Face Fit Testing for Industry: If your job requires you to wear RPE, under Regulation INDG479 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, you must prove that mask fits the wearer.
The only way to do this is by undertaking a Face Fit Test.
The test takes around 20 minutes, and involves the wearer undertaking various actions to simulate working with the mask. This puts the seal under pressure, and shows us whether the Mask fits, or not.
The far most common factor of mask failure is incorrect sizing, and incorrect fitting. Our tester will familiarize you on how to fit, and maintain your RPE, as well as provide you with all the required documentation on successful completion of the Fit Test. |
