If I'd been smart, I would have met Shirley Temple Black in Prague August 20, 1968. I was finishing up several exhilarating days in the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Bohemia during the waning hours of what was called ''Prague Spring.'' These were the glorious days when Alexander Dubcek, local henchman of the USSR, played Tennessee Williams, cat on a hot tin roof.
