Mr Bailey is an accredited specialist in the field of ophthalmology, listed on both the United Kingdom and the European specialist registers, and he has additional certification in the subspecialties of refractive surgery and laser eye surgery. He has been performing laser assisted refractive surgery since 1992. He is one of only a few surgeons in the UK who has gained the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Certificate of Competence in laser refractive surgery.
