The Sands Resort ****

Located on a beautiful sandy beach on the west coast of the island, the Sands Resort is a modern luxury hotel built in the Mauritian style, set in tropical gardens. The 92 rooms have colorful, modern decor with dark wood furniture and bright fabrics. All of the rooms open out on to balconies with stunning sea views. The three restaurants at the resort serve an extensive range of international cuisine and seafood. Guests can swim in the pool, or go snorkeling in the scenic lagoon in front of the hotel.
