Kate Merli has spent more than a decade navigating various niches of the financial industry, including auditing, accounting, venture capital, and private equity. She currently holds the position of chief financial officer at New 2nd Capital, a private equity firm based in New York City. In this role, Kate Merli is responsible for a range of areas, including fiduciary account cash flows, regulatory reporting, vendor relations and accounts, and quarterly reporting.
Prior to assuming this role, Kate Merli served as an accounting manager with a Boston-based firm and dealt with upwards of $1 billion in total assets. In addition to her years of experience in the work force, she is a distinguished alumnus of Bentley University. She graduated from the institution with two degrees in accountancy: a bachelor of science degree and a master of science degree.
Kate Merli enjoys watching professional football, particularly the New England Patriots. She also volunteers for the New York Junior League, a women’s volunteer non-profit organization.
