As founder and CEO of the national investment firm Financial American Corporation, John W. Pacheco leads his employees in purchasing commercial real estate properties. Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, his company allows investors to pursue besieged businesses with the intention of reorganizing, restructuring, and refinancing them. Since its inception in 1978, John W. Pacheco’s company has sold thousands of multifamily apartment units, several shopping centers, and numerous office buildings scattered across the country. While attending the University of Connecticut for his undergraduate studies in business administration, Mr. Pacheco served as student senator and class president. He earned his master's degree in international law, world politics, and monetary policy from Trinity College, graduating second in his department. Mr. Pacheco continued his education and earned his juris doctor degree from the New Hampshire School of Law. John W. Pacheco supports a variety of charitable organizations, including the Arizona Humane Society; the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, International; and the Phoenix Children's Hospital. Mr. Pacheco also assists with the International Foundation for Anticancer Drug Discovery, which advocates for people afflicted by late-stage cancer, as well as the 100 Club of Arizona, a group that supports the families of law enforcement, firefighters, and paramedics.
