An executive with decades of experience in the water and utilities management sector, Jim Good founded a Pittsburgh-based firm focused on helping water utilities make the most of every dollar. Called Parkview Advisors, LLC, the firm provided multidisciplinary advisory solutions, including those related to marketing and business development. Prior to joining Parkview, Jim Good managed the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority in his capacity as executive director.
Before establishing his career, Jim Good enrolled at Cornell University, which awarded him his bachelor of arts in government and Asian studies. Continuing his education, he earned his master of science in finance from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. While studying toward his master’s degree, he gained hands-on experience in his field as an officer with the California Water Service Company.
His professional background also includes a stint in the political arena, when he worked on the legislative staff of Sen. Harry Reid and served as director of congressional relations at the National Association of Water Companies.
