As required by an interim settlement in a pipeline-related suit brought against Spectra Energy et al by Sane Energy Project et al, Con Ed and Spectra appeared before the public at New York City's Community Board w on Dec 4 2012. Here, raw and uncut (but for a 15 second battery change) is the exchange of questions, answers and comments. Here are the videographer's three main take-aways: 1) The topic if radon being transported into NYC kitchens along with fracked Marcellus gas is itself radioactive, and only lawyers dare to address it. 2) According to the Industry, traffickers (''transporters'') of a commodity are not at all responsible for the crimes at either end of the value chain they serve (drug and human traffickers take heart!) 3) Nobody seems to have their fingerprints on the decision, against overwhelming public opposition, to build this pipeline and locate it in the worst possible places.
