EMDR is a therapy used for unlocking traumatic memories and positive psychology. The end goal of EMDR is similar to regular talk therapy, except the rate in which we see results is after a few sessions of processing, as opposed to years of talk therapy. The process of EMDR is assessment, preparation, processing and consolidation. The assessment stage is where we assess your triggers. In the preparation stage we’ll work on mindfulness skills and emotional resilience. The processing stage involves using different neuropsychology methods, and then we consolidate the session.
