As managing director at Credit Suisse, Henry R. “Hank” Minchin Jr of Greenwich, CT, builds on 20 years of investment banking experience. He began his career as a credit analyst with Bank of New York, where he built experience in corporate, consumer, and middle market lending. Turning his focus to facilitating sales trading for financial institutions, Hank Minchin was subsequently named vice president at Oppenheimer & Co. In 2000, Henry R. Minchin Jr. accepted a similar role at Credit Suisse, where he expanded his scope of expertise to include a global platform. He then advanced to a directorial position where he distinguished himself as a leading producer within the firm's equity platform. Also the top performer in the sales trading division, he nurtured relationships with the firm's largest accounts. He accepted his current role as head of sales trading in 2007, and has since coordinated institutional service across several different business lines. A former mentor for incoming hires, Mr. Minchin also serves as member of the firm's equity operating committee, which develops platform-wide strategy.
