How We Got Started
I first started creating this business after the loss of my Grandmother, Dorothy Tate, back in 2004. My initial concept for the business was to provide personlize Sympathy Thank You Cards. After being overwhelmed with emotions for my loss and being the primary person handling the funeral arrangements long after the service I designed a Thank You Card with my Grandmother's picture to send out everyone who showed support. Then my Sister, Monique Marshall passed Feb. 2012, which devestated me, and once again being the primary person handling the funeral arrangments, I was emotionally drained after all was gone. I wished how I had someone responsible to handle the ''ending task'' of sending out the Sympathy Thank You cards. For me to do it, it meant dealing with the emotions of missing her even more than I already was. I then came up with the concept of my business to provide a service that would alleviate the stress of families during their time of bereavement. In honor of my sister, I named the company after her catering company in which she was operating prior to her passing.
