An experienced public affairs consultant and civic servant in Southern California, Glenn Gritzner currently holds the position of Managing Director for the Los Angeles office of Mercury Public Affairs. His work in this position focuses on assisting public and private clients with a range of government and legislative issues. Glenn Gritzner particularly specializes in policy analysis, urban planning, communication strategy, education, and political outreach. Beyond his current work at Mercury Public Affairs, Glenn Gritzner maintains leadership roles in his community as Board Member of City Year Los Angeles, Board Member of Heart of Los Angeles, and Chair of the downtown Los Angeles chapter of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Alumni Association.
Glenn Gritzner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from UCLA. He completed his undergraduate degree in 1992 as a magna cum laude graduate and General Manager of KLA, the on-campus radio station. Continuing his education at Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government, Glenn Gritzner received his Master of Public Policy in 1998.
Early in his career, Mr. Gritzner served as Editor for the Planning Report/Metro Investment Report before joining the Southern California Transportation and Land Use Coalition in 2000. His achievements in that position include convincing the Southern California Association of Governments to adopt a more ambitious stance on improving the quality of life in the region. Glenn Gritz
