A certified public accountant, Terry Gaouette has co-owned Milwaukee-headquartered Gaouette & Associates, SC, for nearly two decades. Terry Gaouette’s firm focuses on providing strategic solutions for entrepreneurial business projects. His company has particular expertise in expanding client operations through identifying emerging markets and developing robust financial modeling tools. He also assists commercial real estate developers in achieving sustainable and community-positive economic development paradigms. In addition to defining market dynamics, he assists in the process of sourcing alternative financing pathways.
Mr. Gaouette earned his B.S. in Accounting at Marquette University in Milwaukee and completed an MBA at the same institution. He holds graduate degrees in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Launching his career as Corporate Controller with Petrie Stores, Inc., in Detroit, Terry Gaouette next accepted executive responsibilities with H.C. Prange Company in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. From 1990 to 1996, he served as Senior Vice President and CFO with Dairyland Greyhound Park in Kenosha. In this capacity, he led an affiliate of The RIME Companies, Inc., one of America’s leading entertainment and hospitality providers. Mr. Gaouette notably coordinated gaming-operation budgets with private facility owners and the state of Wisconsin.
