How I Got Started
Rohita began her enjoyable journey of three and a half decades with Air India, wherein she gleaned vast experience in the realm of grooming, personality development, culinary arts, passenger service, on an International platform. She moved from flying on board, to entering the Management cadre in 1977, which further enriched her persona and she finally retired as Executive Director. During this period, Rohita worked in all spheres of airline functioning viz. sales and marketing, tourism promotion, corporate communications, government liaison, ground handling etc. As part of her job functions, Rohita was also required to network extensively with the travel trade, all airlines, airline associations, government agencies, print and electronic media, Chambers of Commerce and Industry etc.
