Edward Joback has served as a leading professional in the financial industry for many years. He has held positions in several internationally recognized companies, including Price Waterhouse, Lucent Technologies, and Citigroup. Edward Joback presently works in the Corporate Center Financial Planning and Analysis group of the American International Group (AIG).
Over the course of his career, Edward Joback has performed increasingly challenging work in a variety of specialized functions. He has provided leadership to both financial and cross-disciplinary teams for multiple projects and managed multimillion-dollar budgets. Joback has established methodologies, developed business cases, implemented forensic reviews, and provided business decision support for senior management, all with positive tangible benefits.
Edward Joback began his work at AIG in 2007, when he accepted a position as the CFO for its Global Corporate Shared Services initiatives. As the financial crisis loomed in 2009, he provided guidance to restructuring and divestiture separation, reviewing transactions valued at up to several billion dollars. In 2010, Joback started working as an IT Finance Partner for AIG Global Services, AIG’s technology subsidiary. Since 2011, Joback has performed financial planning and analysis, providing guidance for AIG’s senior executives as the company transitions from government majority ownership.
