After completing his undergraduate education in biological sciences at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Edwin Perez attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark to obtain his medical degree. He subsequently completed a general surgery residency through the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, an anesthesiology residency in through UMDNJ, and a pain management fellowship through the University of Washington Medical Center. Dr. Edwin Perez’s professional credentials include certification though the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Anesthesiology Pain Medicine.
Dr. Edwin Perez practices anesthesiology and pain management with two different organizations: Garden State Pain in Clifton, New Jersey, and Centurion Anesthesia and Pain Management in Brooklyn, New York. He also builds upon 7 years of service to his medical school alma mater. Dr. Perez’s work with UMDNJ has included acting as a volunteer assistant professor as well as the anesthesia residency site director of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
