As co-founder and managing director of NYC Surgical Associates, Dr. David Greuner draws upon over 15 years of practical and educational experience in general, thoracic, and vascular surgery. A member of both the American Medical Association and American College of Surgeons, Dr. David Greuner is regarded for his proficiency in minimally-invasive solutions for cardiovascular disease and has offered his expert opinion on topics relating to his profession on Dr. Oz, ABC New York, and CBS New York.
Additionally, Dr. David Greuner has offered his expertise in more formal settings at various surgical conferences. Since 2002, he has delivered 10 seminar speeches on topics such as ''Evaluating the Heartware Device as a Bridge to Transplant'' and ''Physiologic Consequences of the Chest Wall Deformities.'' Dr. Greuner has also contributed to and produced multiple research projects and articles.
Before co-founding NYC Surgical Associates in 2011, Dr. Greuner completed a surgical fellowship at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as well as residencies with Atlantic Health and Banner Health. He earned his MD from St. George's University and holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Baylor University, where he was a member of the school's track and field team.
