InTouch at Home Care is currently seeking the services of personal care assistants that can use their training and skills in senior care to support our clients. We need to fill four positions at our Northwest Portland location and six positions in the greater Metro West area immediately.
Requirements:
Must have a flexible schedule for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Must be able to pass criminal background check with fingerprinting, physical, and pass a drug test.
Must have verifiable senior care experience.
All employees of InTouch at Home Care must be legally allowed to work in the United States.
Responsibilities:
Our hiring and training is done at our main office in Wilsonville. This is one-on-one customized care for our elderly clients. We seek caregivers to assist with:
Toileting that includes incontinence care.
Medication reminders.
Showering assistance.
Dressing in clean clothing appropriately.
Friendly and sensitive companionship.
Light housekeeping.
Transportation via your vehicle or the client’s vehicle.
Pay Range:
$11 per hour depending upon experience
Other Information:
This is a W-2 paid employment position. Pay dates are the 15th and 31st of each month. Direct deposit is available.
Hired applicants receive computerized training onsite as well as supervised showing while learning our care techniques. On-going training builds on what you bring to the job and grow professionally.
Due to overtime laws, we do not hire for or offer any live-in shifts or live-in positions.
Clients tell us the hours and days they want a personal care assistant. Our caregivers tell us which hours they want to work on which days. Our software schedule creates work schedules for caregivers matching them to clients for those work hours. We match the right caregiver to the right client.
Due to high demands for transportation, caregivers that have valid Arizona driver’s licenses and can provide dependable transportation service will get more hours of work!
