An experienced political strategist, Chuck Rocha established Solidarity Strategies, LLC, a political consulting firm, in 2010. As president of the firm, he provides political consulting and campaign services on behalf of progressive organizations and candidates, including Senator Bernie Sanders, whose national campaign for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination he oversaw. Chuck Rocha’s background has also seen him serve as labor director during the presidential campaigns of Representative Dick Gephardt and Senator John Edwards.
Relied on for his professional knowledge, he appears as a commentator on MSNBC and Fox News, where he speaks on Democratic strategy and the Latino vote. He also discusses issues related to campaigns and politics on his weekly podcast, The Rocha Revolution. A graduate of Harvard University’s Trade Union Program, Mr. Rocha spent decades as a union member, culminating in his leadership as national political director of United Steelworkers of America.
Charitably active, Chuck Rocha mentors young Latinos in Washington, DC. Further, he supports organizations advocating for LGBTQ rights and the environment.
