Over the past three decades, Carl Casale has built a successful career as an executive in the U.S. agricultural business sector. He earned a bachelor’s in agricultural economics from the Oregon State University College of Agricultural Sciences and a master of business administration from Washington University in St. Louis. Subsequently, Carl Casale accepted a position as chief financial officer and executive vice president of Monsanto Company, where he spent the next 26 years.
In 2011, Carl Casale joined CHS Inc., a Fortune 100 firm that specializes in food, grains, and energy. As the firm’s president and chief executive officer, he has successfully led the company through a number of investment and acquisition operations. During the 2015 fiscal year alone, Mr. Casale oversaw CHS acquisition of a refinery in McPherson, Kansas, and the subsequent expansion of a company facility in Laurel, Montana. In addition, he has spearheaded company efforts to invest nearly $3 billion in CF Industries.
Outside of his responsibilities with CHS, Mr. Casale runs an 80-acre blueberry farm with his family.
