Vegas is filled to the brim with truly unique hotels for every budget. The Strip is where most of the action and the best views are located in Vegas, so staying on the Strip puts you right in the heart of it. Each hotel offers something different, so make sure to do some due diligence before booking. For vacationers hoping for some pool time, consider staying at the Cosmopolitan. In the summertime, they play a movie poolside every Monday at 8 p.m. For a more adult experience, sunbathe European-style at the Bare Pool at The Mirage and Moorea Beach Club at Mandalay Bay. Even if you don’t choose to stay at the Bellagio right in the middle of the Strip, be sure to check out the fountain show that restarts every 30 minutes. They even boast a beautiful indoor botanical garden that changes with the seasons.

There are probably plenty of tasty restaurants wherever you live right now. Many Las Vegas restaurants, however, put on a show. For brunch, step it up to the next level at Treasure Island – where you’ll be joined by drag queens. Lost Spirits Distillery takes you 20,000 leagues under the sea for a dinner-turned-aquatic-adventure. For vacationers seeking a romantic evening, enjoy a boutique flower arrangement lesson alongside some wine at Cork & Thorn. For an opposite kind of evening, drink an actual scorpion at Nacho Daddy – one of the best vegan restaurants in Las Vegas. You can even dine in the dark at Blackout Dining. It would be a shame to visit Vegas just to eat at normal restaurants; for your first visit, you absolutely must try something totally new!

Explore Unique Exhibitions

Vegas is home to countless unforgettable experiences, including walking on the moon. At Illuminarium, their unique SPACE exhibition promises an interactive experience that allows you to join Buzz Aldrin’s walk on the moon. For those passionate about the environment, Arcadia Earth is a must-see. Using recycled materials, the art installations there are designed to represent the effects of climate change. In true Vegas fashion, take some time to visit the Erotic Heritage Museum to learn some history of eroticism, anatomy lessons, and a puppetry act reserved for only the most open-minded guests. For true crime enthusiasts, the Mob Museum has plenty to offer. There is even a speakeasy in the basement to top off the visit. One of the most unique Vegas experiences is found in Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart. Go there looking for a job in customer service and see where that takes you – the rest you’ll have to discover for yourself! If you’re lucky, you’ll end the night drinking in another dimension.

For those looking to get some adrenaline flowing, don’t miss out on Adrenaline Mountain, where you can shoot guns, fly a helicopter, blow up cars, and more! You can also check out Vegas Indoor Skydiving, where you can experience an indoor free-fall with all the training and gear provided. For those who feel regular aquariums just aren’t enough, consider a visit to The Golden Nugget, which boasts a water slide through a 200,000-gallon water tank full of sharks and other fish. For a view second to none, fly over the Strip with FlyLINQ Zipline. The LINQ also boasts the world’s tallest Ferris wheel – an iconic Vegas structure.
