A Nor'easter snowstorm has hit the United States of America. Due to this, more than 5000 flights from various airlines have been canceled or disrupted this weekend. This comes after the National Weather Service released an advisory stating that traveling will nearly be impossible due to the extreme weather conditions and winter storm warnings. The reason for cancellation or delays is due to the blizzard warning issued by NWS (National Weather Service). If you don’t know what a blizzard is, it is a wind condition in which there is low visibility for less than a quarter mile due to the falling and blowing of snow. Also, the wind speed is more than or equal to 35 mph. Most flights of American carriers have been canceled or disrupted. Some of the most impacted airlines are:

According to FlightAware (an online flight tracking agency), more than 4,900 flights in America have been canceled this weekend (Friday to Sunday) due to Nor'easter. If you are having any travel plans for this weekend, make sure to get in touch with your airline before leaving for the airport.
