Dear Storeboard Member,

I hope your weekend was a good one and if you are like us and were affected by Hurricane Irene, I hope you and your families are safe and sound! Last week was a great week at Storeboard since we broke all of our records for important website statistics. Storeboard had the most visits and page views ever in our short history last week. Storeboard also saw the most number of new sign ups ever in 1 week. So I just want to say thank you. I have been working on this site for over 4 years! I can’t believe it but it’s true. The site has been live for only about 6 months of that time so you can imagine how gratifying it feels to see you and the other members using Storeboard!

As many of you know already, I like to start the week by highlighting some of the new features and developments on Storeboard. Here they are:

1. Display of Your Media – Storeboard has several ways we promote your media. All new media is announced on the Board and available at the upper top band which says "Board" if it is no longer visible on the dashboard. It also shows on your profile, and on the relevant media page which are also at the top entitled: "Images, Videos, Audios, Blogs, Coupons, and Ads." When you upload new media, whatever you uploaded is featured at the top position so it is the most prominent until someone else posts after you in the same category. If you post a product or classified ad, you also get a featured position either in Classifieds or Marketplace. This tremendous exposure is completely free.

2. New Marketing Packages – We have some great new marketing packages for promoting a website or webpage. They can be found by clicking on “Advertise Your Website” on “Your Storeboard.” They are affordable ways to drive hundreds (if not thousands) of people to your website. Pay-per-click starts as low at 1 cent per click!

3. Digg! – Digg! is now available on the Share bar for all types of Media. The site is a fast and easy way to promote your media and it only takes a few seconds to share on the site and create a link to your page. We encourage everyone to Digg! your postings!

4. Categories for Your Media – We are about 75% finished categorizing all of the media on the site to make it easier to access and view. If you click on the media links at the top (Images, Videos, Audios, Blogs, Coupons, and Ads) you will now see “Categories” (Videos to be finished today and Profiles to be better categorized by the end of the week). You should look for your media to make sure it is properly categorized. If you want to change the Category we have assigned you can do that by “Managing” that particular type of Media. 5. Google and Other Search Engines – We continue to do better in terms of our Members and their Media being discovered in Google searches. You can help by making sure you select the right categories for your media and using the best possible keywords where you see a space calling for them. Also, you should fully complete your profile. Later, we will send out an E-mail showing each Member what they need to do to bring their profile to 100%. Please let us know if you need any assistance.

6. Website Links – If have a website and would like to put Storeboard on it, let us know and we will give you a link as well. We are in the process of building links to other sites so we continue to improve our SEO and Alexa Rank. We have artwork you can use to promote your Storeboard profile or Storeboard. You can locate it by clicking on “Promote Storeboard” under Your Storeboard.

7. Community Pages – We are almost finished designing the first version of our first community page. Our Community Pages will focus on a specific town or city and feature local businesses. We will have display ads available and other features that focus on the local community.

8. Storeboard Brand Ambassadors – We are looking for local partners to sign up local businesses onto Storeboard. If you have a marketing business or some business aimed at other small businesses or you are just looking to make extra money, Contact Us..
