You Can Host Your Own Minecraft Server |

Players can use the server JAR file provided by Mojang to operate their own Minecraft servers. You may customise the server settings and play with friends by creating your own Minecraft server. And you can also visit https://minebrowse.com to find best servers.
The first step is to open your command prompt and determine which version of Java is currently installed on your machine. You can simply install the most recent version, but typing "java -version" will prove that you are running Java 7.
The final step is to download the Minecraft Server.exe file, which will execute the JAR file with the appropriate parameters inside Windows. Minecraft's official website has a link to the download.
You can use a batch file to adjust the allotted RAM (server memory) by launching Minecraft Server.exe from a batch file. Simply copy and paste the following code into Notepad:
64bit
"C:Program Files (x86)Javajre7binjavaw.exe" "C:Program Files (x86)Javajre7binjavaw.exe" -jar "Minecraft Server.exe" -Xms1024m -Xmx1024m
32bit
-Xms1024m -Xmx1024m -jar "Minecraft Server.exe" "C:Program FilesJavajre7binjavaw.exe" -Xms1024m -Xmx1024m -jar "Minecraft Server.exe"
Replace 1024 with the number of megabytes of RAM you want to give your server, and save the file as "start.bat." You can convert gigabytes to megabytes using Google. This file will start your server when you open it.
After your server is up and running, you and your friends on the same local network can connect to it by opening the Minecraft client and connecting to the server IP "localhost." If you want to play online with pals, you'll need to port forward your router so that other connections can connect to your server. You can also use Hamachi, which provides you with a public IP address. This is a time-consuming procedure, and most home internet connections are incapable of supporting a big number of players online.
You can start setting your server by opening it.
When you originally started your Minecraft server, you produced a properties file. This file includes your server's primary settings, and after making changes, you must restart the server for the changes to take effect. A file called ops.txt will also be found in your server's folder. You can use this text file to keep track of which players should have administrator privileges on the server. Save the file and restart the server after you've entered your username. The whitelist.txt file can be used to block all players except those on your banned-players.txt list, which is important for combating rogue users.
