Ever Ask What If? A lot of my practice uses what I call "inquiry therapy"--you know, asking questions. Often the answer isn't what I'm seeking...I want to get my client to do a little mind shifting. Open the ol' mind up to new possibilities. Here are some "what ifs" to use when you feel emotionally stuck or frustrated. Have fun! Oh, and don’t ask what you don’t want the answer to...just saying... WHAT IF….. ========================================== I LET GO OF BEING PERFECT? FIXING? SOLVING YOUR PROBLEM? I SEE MYSELF AS GOD SEES ME? I LET GO OF JUDGING? BLAMING? HATING? EXPECTING? ATTACK? I WAS HONEST IN THIS SITUATION? THIS IS JUST A HABIT? THIS IS ME LOOKING FOR THE "KNOWN", THE FAMILIAR, THE COMFORTABLE? I CHOOSE SELF LOVE RIGHT NOW? I TOOK RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY REACTION? I WAS SAFE? I DIDN'T NEED TO HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS? THIS WAS ALL OK? I LET GOD BE IN CHARGE? I MINDED MY OWN BUSINESS AND LET YOU MIND YOURS? ================================= **WHAT IS RIGHT ABOUT THIS THAT I’M MISSING? **WHAT IS MY NEXT BEST STEP HERE?
