That Was Easy Easy is good, right? And don’t forget fast. Fast is good, too. Fast and easy…it doesn’t get better, does it? That’s great, if you want a meal at Burger King. Not so great with life. Easy and fast become huge expectations with life. Heaven forbid something isn’t easy and fast…those inner voices start chirping, “I can’t do this. It’s impossible. Why me?” We get scared. Heart beats, palms sweat. We may give up. Or break down. Or all of the above. Those inner voices are sucking the life force right out of you, Peaches! What if it wasn’t anything? What if it was just an experience? Easy, hard, fast, slow…what if it is what it is? [“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” –Wayne Dyer] Instead of, “this is taking forever” could you say “this is taking 60 minutes”? It takes the time it takes. It is what it is. It’s not slow…it’s 60 minutes. Our judgment makes it “slow”. You’re not alone in this. I’m there, too, casting judgments right and left… deciding what’s good or bad, right or wrong about the experience. [As if that somehow contributes to the situation…] Be kind to your awesome self. Plug up the drain and take back that life force.
